Well, NC since Tuesday, which is strange. When I talked to her Tuesday she said she was at the airport, so she must be on a trip somewhere. No idea why. She also called me from Phoenix a couple weeks ago with no explanation. Not worried though, I seriously doubt OM, or a new one, has anything to do with it.

Best case is she flew to New York to visit SIL. I love SIL, and she's been very supportive. I don't talk to her any more at W's request, but I can tell she's working behind the scenes. SIL moved to New York to live near an internet boyfriend. FIL, of course, completely disapproves. W says they're great together, I've never met the guy but he sounds great. They're even leading a lot of stuff at church together.

The funny thing is, FIL has now told W that he never approved of me, never wanted us to get married, but didn't forbid us because he didn't want to lose her. A-hole. I wish he'd forbidden us, we would've done it anyway. Now W tells me that SIL is almost engaged, they're already picking out kids names, etc. FIL still completely disapproves, and he's trying to turn W to his side.

Got all that? She's in the middle of a whole bunch of family drama. And she's starting to realize that her dad's a controlling ass. I couldn't be happier. And I'm off to Chicago next week for a business trip!
