Hey everybody! TGIF!!! Especially cuz it feels like a Monday and I am ready to MURDER a few annoying clients. Ahhh bliss.
The seminar I went to yesterday on 'play therapy' was good... glad to be back to work. Next week I'm buzzing over to denver w/ a coworker to just have a fun overnight or 2 so that'll be nice. X leaves on Monday (I think) for Belize with OW. So I get the girls to myself (and for father's day, no less!!! wonder if I'll get breakfast in bed AGAIN!!! His loss).
I wanted to share a conversation I had w/ D7 earlier in the week. D7 was talking about seeing her C this week... she will continue to see her school C every other week for summer which is super cool...
D7: Since D5 is going to be going to my school next year, will she be able to see Miss Emily too?
Me: I don't know, sweetie... Miss Emily has a pretty full schedule. We'll have to wait to see.
D7: I guess she could take my place. I can probably handle it better than she can.
Me: You can probably handle what better?
D7: The D. B (D5) is so mad at you.
Me: At ME???!??!!!
D7: Well, at both of you.
So, not sure if this is projection or if D5 is sharing more with D7 than with me. Either way, it's probably time to hook her up w/ Miss Emily.
Thank God for the angels in our lives who help children.
