God of Wonders Wonderful night last night. Dinner got postponed until after church. Wonderful service! A mom and a cousin of the Marine I spent Saturday's conference with came to the service after years of staying away from church. Out of 1500 or so people, I happened to run into the group as we were arriving at a remote parking lot, coincidence? We walked in together and I introduced them to people, to help them feel comfortable.
At the end of the service two people indicated they wanted to have a relationship with God and were sent to the area where I serve, for new believers or those recommitting their life to the Lord. Guess which two people came up to meet with me and my colaborer in this ministry after service? Yep, the mom and the cousin.
He is a God of Wonders!
Afterward, dinner was great! The newlyweds were there and I gave them the gifts I broght back from Hawaii, including a hawaiian starbucks travel mug. (I forgot I had stuffed clean underwear in the mug because I needed space in my bags coming home- guess what they found when they looked in the mug LOL!!!!!! :D) )
Separately, my dear friend from Romania, shared that she was going to pray about hopping over to Spain when our team goes. She was delighted when I told her I was going to Spain. I would so enjoy spending a week with her for she has years and years of stories of how God has moved in Romania and in the ministry He has given her charge over. Man, life keeps getting better!
(p.s. Big weekend with 8th grade son's graduation, penty of opportunity for resentment because of my dad's feelings towards X and that after the ceremony we will not all be celebrating afterwards. I
