The walls are done and I LOVE it. I'm laying in bed now (alone save for my dogs) enjoying the new look. The color is Dusty Leaf which is a sage green. (I'm glad I love it because I screwed up and bought too much. I will be painting the dining room the same color.) I can't wait to put on my new bedding and get new window treatments.

Forrest, H won't be looking at the ceiling while I'm in bed. That only seems to complicate things more and gives me false hope.

My wife works for a huge paint company - I should ask her who gets to make up the stupid names for paint. That might be a fun job.

Sounds like you are really making your home your own... Do you still have the thing on the wall your D15 had a problem with when you took it down?

Red,

I haven't taken anyone on my boat except my kids. Nope. Saving that for a redhead.... Can't seem to find any... at least not local.

It's raining here a lot lately so I haven't even had a girl on my bike save my daughter.

My den is the same color. Too funny.

Woog...I'm thinking more and more that you are the man for me ;\)

Brit, you know I'm a camel. I wouldn't mind coming up with paint names for a living. Wonder if my Master's degree qualifies me for that. I am trying to decide if I should paint the living room Caribou, Twine or Maple Butter.

BBJ, tomorrow is my last day with kids. Friday is my last workday. I found out today that I will be back in the classroom teaching 1st grade in the fall. It was what I requested two months ago but was denied. Now I am getting strong armed into it and I'm not too happy. I'll make the best of it though. I guess I'll be having a lot of changes in the coming year.

Brit,
I forgot to answer your question about the item that upset D15. I had to take it down to paint and I have not put it back up yet. I don't want to put it back up, but I haven't decided yet.

Red,

Sorry about the position being forced on you, that sucks. Happy last day tomorrow though! At least you have a couple months to prepare for the classroom change....

Thinking of you and your paint colors ;\) I kind of want to lick the maple butter sample....

Enjoy the workday tomorrow. Pathetic, I know, but sometimes I prefer the days I am in the classroom and the kids AREN'T ;\)

Got a Starbucks this afternoon. The guy at the counter made lots of conversation and was younger and cute! Not my usual type (not that I have one anyway), thick curly dark hair and big dark eyes. Made me think of you as I "flirted" with him....

I hope to get in my office tomorrow and kick some but packing up. I'm glad today was the last day with kids as it is in the 90s and humid. YUCK! It does feel good going in without kids.

Early on in my S with H I told the girls not to ask H is he wanted to talk to me when he calls. I have noticed that while he is gone this week he has been calling the Ds phone. Each time he calls though he asks to talk to me. Tonight he asked to talk to me, then he asked if he could call back in a few minutes. I said "yes, if you want to." H is supposed to get back tomorrow evening. He sent D at text telling her what time he was supposed to get in. I told her to send him one letting him know we all have plans for tomorrow. (D15 has plans w/ a friend, and I am taking D10 to a party w/ coworkers) H asked me about it and seemed shocked that we wouldn't be home when he gets back in town. Maybe he will get the idea that we are moving on.
