Hey Kerry!

Lodo is a nickname I actually got from W. Shortly after she and I first moved in together, she left to guide a trip in Baja. The local mule packers liked to call everyone and their spouses by their mexican name. They were stumped by my name so came up with their best guess - lodo. If you looked that up, you'd laugh, but if you knew my name, you'd understand.

My meal might have been mouthwatering, but there were no kids involved - whole different dynamic. Cub scouts! I was a cub scout ...

I actually JUST undercooked the halibut because I was afraid of overcooking it. I usually do it on the grill but thought I'd try something new. Orange Roughy is good - I'm also a Trader Joe's shopper. But the fishermen from Half Moon Bay come over to the farmer's market so I can get fresh fish and veggies on weekends.

And thanks for your comment on my email. I wish I knew why she was so against working on things when she seems so conflicted. But it is the way it is.

Oh, and I also really like to work in the garden! Although my new place needs a little more gardenwork than I'm prepared to do. I planted a few herbs, WAY too much basil, and some tomatoes that are already under attack by gophers. I also joined a community farm - always good to give support and help out and I thought I could do some larger crops like corn and chilies over there.
