Ok! I have more info about my schedule now. Lunch sounds nice, but except for my day off I would only be able to get into penn station [in NYC] for about 41... minutes around lunch LOL!!!.
So, it would best work for me on the 7th when it is my day off and we could meet any time but if you can't make it, the 8th or 9th dinner or something could work.
Let me know what you think! It would be great if we could catch up while I am there or this time...

K you made me laugh out LOUD about possibly accidentally signing my name tranformer. Sometimes I find myself signing other emails transformer or doing the (((HUGS))) at the end and then I have to stop myself and put myself back into my "Clark Kent" real R persona...

Where-- I am so glad you are thinking about DB'ing your family!! it's so funny, I used to think the way to work on relationships was to talk about what was wrong ("Mom, when you do ___ I feel like *(&*(") but my family really didn't ever respond to that. So I just started experimenting & monitoring results, & trying to do more of what works and less of what doesn't, and I can't *believe* how different things are now. It's like i have space to step back and see who my parents are as people with their own wounds and issues... you know?? I can't wait to hear about you DBing other family members!!!
OD--I am so glad you like the email and how I handled the "so you are single now?" conversation. It's funny, I just really wasn't interested in telling the SAGA anymore. But I wanted to share *something* emotional b/c this friend was confiding in me. I'm glad you liked how I did

The festy is *FUN* but really tiring! I am playing max bruch's string octet, which is beaaaaaaauuutiful!!! It is hard to put together though just because working with 8 people is hard... all the personalities, you know? But, Ww have a master class with William Preucil, one of the most awesome violinists in the world, in an hour!!!
Had a good rehearsal this morning and then a lunch with 3 of B's acquaintances where I think I did a good job of being friendly and happy and not weird!!
No news yet from B... more updates later. I think all the festival ladies are going to see the Sex & The City movie tonight!!
