Dimitri: Not quite sure how to read your response. I don't "expect" the world to treat me fairly. Alot of us on here see the WAS's lives being put back together much sooner than our own. It is taking some of us like myself longer with more road bumbs. But like someone said way back when I started this thread, we don't see everything that goes on with the WAS's and their new lives. It is probably not as rosey as we think.

Yeah, WAS's already have a huge head start already when they drop the bomb (or let you step on a landmine in the case of an affair). While LBS is immobilised/shell schocked they keep going making the lead even bigger. Hard to keep pace with and there is no shame in that. GL job hunting shoeprincess!

I also agree with what Dimitri has to say. Just think of how you had no choice but to go on while picking up the pieces, and you did it solo. These ex's have had someone waiting in the wings to transition them on to a new life. Meanwhile back on the home front, we may struggle but we find out who we are and what we're made of, but especially what it is that we want out of life and a partner. The wa's haven't taken the time to do any of that. Now who would you say will be better equipped for a future relationship?
The job thing is just a temporary inconvenience. I honestly believe that everything we are faced with is there to teach us and make us the people that we were meant to be. It's all just a matter of time!
