Hard to say abou the speech. It depends so much on the relationships of all the people involved that it is impossible to say much from here! But, I think that he helped write, or read the "marriage" stuff at least had to make him think. I mean, despite the fact that he shows no evidence of having a working brain cell in his head, I have to assume he is at least somewhat aware!
