Thanks K!

No lobster here. We have Dungeoness crab, prawns and lots of salmon. My GF's H fishes almost daily and traps prawns and crabs. We feast daily!

We're off to a lighthouse then a beach after a bit of boutique shopping today.

Got emails from Brandon and Ashley. Both are excited about new ventures and purchases. Nice to hear the good stuff.

Hiya girlfriends!

I guess we all LOVE seafood. GF's H is a retired newspaper publisher who has always loved to fish after work and on the w/e. Now he can do it all he pleases. Boy, to have it so fresh is awesome.

We're off to an artistic town nearby to boutique shop and view the art. I went there when Ashley was a newborn and haven't been back since.

Talked to Josh today (he calls every other day) and he finished a year long project at work. Not sure where he will be working next - possibly Montreal, but we'd both prefer Toronto.

Brandon has invited a new girl on a date and he is so excited about her. I hope things look up for him. He is also working on the sound of a Bollywood movie. This is the area he hopes to branch out into and this is his first venture.

Ash joined a gym and is taking Yoga. She is happy too.

All is well in the world!

Morning!

Jill: Ash backed off! I had told her that if she "lived" at BF's it would show as her primary address and she might get cut off her dad's health insurance for not living at home. I wasn't sure if that was fact but told her that I wasn't sure. She sure could not afford that! Josh noticed that even when she spent the w/e there - she always came home to shower and prepare food. You see - BF has a basement apt at his mom's house and she still cooks for him. Ash takes LOOOOONG showers and eats vegan/veg most of the time. I expect BF doesn't even have his own frig. His Mom recently moved in her own BF and his little sister lives there too. I remember Ash complaining one day about how loud her friends were in the morning etc. I think the little "tryouts" made her see that home is really not so bad. I also think the key was in not saying TOO MUCH!

Yesterday we went to some boutiques and a quaint town. Today will be sunshine, relaxation and a bit of time at the mall. Maybe go see "Sex in the City" tonight.

Salmon is on the menu for dinner tonight. We will open the Niagara Chardonnay I brought. Josh says it is one of the finest he's ever had. I've heard we're going to have a second crab feast before I leave since I enjoy it so much. Guess that makes me a "Seawood Whore" too.

Lobsterfest is a big deal in Niagara every year. It is a dinner dance held on the Friday after Labour Day. Anyone wanna come for a visit then?

Hey Barb!!

Sounds like you're having a great time. I have never been there. In fact the only place I've ever been in canada is Ontario and Alberta, but what you're describing sounds like someplace I would love!

Glad to hear that things are going so well with Ashley and the best part was that it was all her decision!

Hey, I just saw S&TC this afternoon with my girls and 30 of our closest girlfriends. It was a fun chic flick..enjoy!

Love,
Bethie
