Si como no! Pienso que you voy a pedir mi jefe que you puede ir al Espana.

Translation: Yes, how could it not be. I think today I am going to ask my boss if I can go to Spain. OR "You betcha, I think I am going to ask the king if I can buy Spain. (it is one of those two" \:\)

I'm not sure how the colors show up on anyone elses monitor but on mine.... the "t" in Pistons is yellow and barely legible so it looks like "Pis ons".... I'm sure I don't have to say how I read it...

nice little chuckle to get my day goin'....

Hope you have a great Friday!!!

purely unintentional but the results aren't bad just the same. If one highlights the text to copy it, the "t" shows up. Yes, their colors are red white and blue.

glad you got a chuckle out of it, just the same

lnf, yes, \:\) unitentional but who cares now because it is L.A. vs. Boston \:D We Laker fans are still bitter over all the years Boston beat L.A. back in the 60's \:\( Revenge is sweet, even 40 years later.

Happy Sunday!

Attended a men's conference on Sat. with approx 4,000 other guys. Awesome teaching about being men of God, for our families, friends and for our community.

Spending today with my son after taxing My daughter to a friend's.

Before that, I took my sister, my kids and my nephew to breakfast, sharing some of the neat things from the conference and from my Hawaii trip. It has been a nice relaxing day.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and that they have an even better week \:\)

Spain here I come!

Friday I caught my boss early in the morning to ask him if I could take time off to go on my trip to Spain. This was my opportunity to see how flexible the company really is.

The trip takes place, November 21 thru December 3 of this year at which point I will have accrued only one week's vacation time which left four other days to account for. As it turns out, Thanksgiving falls during that period and that Friday is also a day off for us. That left just two other days to account for and I may work the Saturday after I return or simply take unpaid days off.

That aside, I really needed favor from my director because it is a time of the year that they really need me. My director knows I will work extra hard before and after the trip to make my absence as minimum of a burden on others, as possible.

After speaking with my director Friday morning, and discussin the trip a bit, he officially granted the time off!!!!!

Separately, just yesterday, I found out from the pastor leading the trip that some local musicians whom I have served with before in Mexico will also be going on the trip!!! They are great servants and their style of music will go over well in Spain and they are amazingly accomplished classical guitarists.

As a final bonus, I found out we will also be spending three days in Barcelona which I had not expected would happen.

I am soooo excited! \:D

I love my life!

LA vs. Boston....how sweet it is!

Congrats on your trip to Spain. You have turned into a world traveler. I have friends that just got back last night from 2 weeks in Europe and that was their favorite part of the whole trip. I was thinking about Paris but they think that I definitely need to think Spain.

Hope you're having a great day!

Love,
Bethie
