I heard back from B and he suggested lunch the week after next...???!!!!

Here is his latest:

Thanks for the card! I had a great birthday with single malts to spare. It was crowded here in the apt, but I enjoyed having people over.

This next week I am pretty busy, but I will be in town the following week with not much to do (June 8 - 14). If you are in the city then, we should meet for lunch or something. I hope you have a great time at LyricaFest!

Things to note:
-HE SUGGESTED THAT WE MEET FOR "LUNCH OR SOMETHING"???? Wha...??? sitting down across from each other for an extended period of time WHILE EATING???? I was expecting MAYBE a cup of tea at the longest, or some kind of active activity like taking a walk or looking at a cool exhibit JUST SO WE WOULDN"T have to sit down and stare at each other because *I* thought it would be too much pressure!!!!!
-he had a great birthday
-He had people over for his birthday??!! It is nice to hear that he is having a party for himself, something he hasn't (in my knowledge) done since before he left Boston 2 years ago. The last time I checked he had *two* friends who lived in New York and then the three other string quartet members. So either he has new friends, or all of his friends that I know about showed up for the party and his apartment was still crowded between the 6 of them (and it would be... tiny NYC crappy apt). \:\) I am hoping that it is the "made new friends" option though also I think he has a different aesthetic about parties (he just likes to have lots of people over, I usually only invite the closest friends).
-He told me when he would be in town specifically
-He will be in NYC while I am in NJ
-It would be relatively easy for me to go into town to meet him for something... maybe not lunch unless we get a scheduled day off at the festival, b/c rehearsals are usually during the day, like all day long...
-He actually signed his name just like that, "b", at the end, instead signing his name....???
-the email is kind of short-ish but yet full of information. My e-card just said, "Dear B, Happy Birthday, TRANSFORMER" so he wrote more than I did.

Hm... I had planned to stick around in NYC to see him AFTER the festival was over on the 15th. Now it looks like we will probably try to see each other WHILE the festival is happening. I can't tell if he will be in town AFTER the 14th or not, he just said he WOULD be in town before. The festival will keep me SOOOO busy, which will be good for my PMA and GAL, but it will mean that I'll probably need to streamline my preparations ... I prob won't have time to go to a department store to have someone do my makeup, and pick up a prescription for BETA BLOCKERS, and go to an energy healer so they can put me in a totally chilled out trance before I meet up with B... I am only kinda kidding here.

OK guys what do I do???? It seems like it might be advantageous to try to meet him closer to the 8th than the 14th so on the extremely off chance that he wants to see me again we could do that without having everything spaced too close together.

Should I bounce back something to him like "So glad you had a great birthday, your party sounds awesome!! It would be great to meet up with you while you're in town, I'll know more about my schedule when I get my lyricafest schedule tomorrow""?? Or do I wait until I have the schedule....??

BE STILL MY BEATING HEART... He is asking to see me for some reason, one of my major original goals!!

On a completely different note, my Mom LOVED her presents and then after we opened them and had cake she asked me if I could come home and live with her and my Dad and my brother again and we could be "a real family." She was "kinda" joking but I actually started crying and she started crying too. I am crying now again just typing about it. I feel like I belong with my family for the first time in 10 years I think. I don't understand what happened but something has definitely been healed, I am not even sure how, but it is so awesome to feel.
