you know, even though the texting thing happened in my sitch too. H never texted before sitch, and that's all he did with her. But I took it as, when my H would text ME, I would be glad and think about it being one more thing he's doing more with me and less with her. So I was never really torn by the whole texting. I like it too because YOU get to control the convo. if you don't want to read it yet, you don't have to. if you don't want to reply, you don't have to. It gives you WAY more time to think about what you want to say, and if you should say it.

for ex. if H says something about going out one night, and your first reaction is annoyed and upset that they don't ask you, so you say something stupid and wish you hadn't said it. but if they text instead, you start writing it down, and you reread what you wrote and think....I'm not gonna write that, that'll only start an arguement...etc etc.

SOOOOO, I'm for the text! the only bad thing, is you can't see their expression or hear the inflictions in their voice.

anyways, I agree Nik, you should definitely start using it. I'm 99.99% certain your H will be thrilled. this week, pick some random day and random hour and send a nice short text. he'll love it.
