I am curious to see how he is going to justify being pissed at you if it is because of the article. I am thinking one of two things: 1. She gave him an earful for discussing their R with you (how's that for irony?;\)) or 2. ...he never really bothered to break up with her like he told you and she was pissed that you thought that they were broken up.

Either way I think it is because you put a little kink in his fantasy world.
