Ok Ok you got me. I love hockey although I haven't watched it religiosly for about 10 years. However, I will be there for the end of the payoffs this year woohoo.

That was great!!! I got a kick out of it. I haven't watched hockey in quite some time as well. I have been meaning to see a minor league team around here (otherwise known as boxing on ice) but haven't got around to it. My W actually expressed some interest in seeing a game.

For the first time ever I'll be cheering for the Detroit Red Wings. They have a player named Daniel Cleary. Daniel was born and raised in Newfoundland. If the Wings win the cup he'll be the first NL player to have his name engraved on the cup. There have been players over the years from NL but none have ever come this close.
