haha OMG JAK I'm so sorry, I honestly didn't know that's where you worked and didn't mean to use your field as an example! The checkers etc. at the grocery store I usually go to are always super bubbly and friendly, but have been really grouchy in recent weeks.. that's the only reason that particular example came to mind. I'm sure it's in response to listening to customers complain all day long about rising prices.

I've made it a personal challenge to be extra positive when interacting with people lately - even if the person I'm talking to isn't in a great mood. It's amazing how it can help YOU feel better but sometimes lift their spirit too. Tough to do it all day long, though, that's for sure.
