Yep, my boys and I are having movie night this evening, too!

I'm also a big mystery crime reader! Michael Connelly, Tess Gerritsen, and my favorite, Sandra Brown! She's awesome - she can mix crime with steamy ;\) scenes like no one else!

(((((Michelle)))))

Have a blast tonight! You're so overdue!

The JD Robbs are good, kind of fun. Easy reads. My favs, though, are James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Crichton, and Jeffrey Deaver. I have not had much time to read them though, been too busy reading other things.

Let me know how the Sex & the City movie is. A few friends and I are planning to see it, but I want to know if it is worth it. I loved the series...

Im still standin better than I ever did looking like a true survivor feeling like a little kid Im still standin after all this time and Im picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind..

Ooooh. I LOVE Michael Crichton. My dad has a ton of James Patterson, I should steal some of them.

I will definitely let you all know how the movie is. I will not be comparing it to the series though, as I didn't really watch much of it. However, I'm sure my girlfriends will have plenty of comments/comparisons. Mostly I am looking forward to happy hour and girl talk.

I know alcohol is a depressant and an escape mechanism, but I've given up chewing my nails, so I gotta have my occasional night to booze it up! ;\)

Nothing wrong with that!

Your H's IM's sound like he realizes he's not adjusting well, and he's pissed off about it. Especially:

It obviously sucks to still be in college at 25, because he went off and served his country first. So now he's off from the rest of the world. His "fatass Americans" comment later shows this as well. So to make up for it, he decided to go have an affair with a college student. Great idea.

IMO he has plenty of reasons to be pissed off, but is making all the wrong choices. Tough sitch. I'm proud of you for fighting, keep it up.

Oh, and my W thinks that Sarah Jessica Parker is way too old, and not nearly attractive enough, to star in a show or movie called "Sex in the City". I don't care enough to have an opinion \:\) Have a great girls night!

Hmmm, just got a strange IM from H. Haven't replied yet....

[12:56] H: when you want to meet up and get the tax check. we could also get dinner or some such. To be honest I'm sort of pissed at you right now, but I still want to hang out and see if there is anything between us

Hmmmm....wonder if that is because of the article.

....but obviously not that pissed. I think that sounds like a good thing!

The article is the only thing I can think of. Although I'm honestly not sure why he's pissed about it. I wonder what she said to him.

At any rate, I'm obviously busy tonight. And I work Sunday. But I can ditch my "stay at home and watch movie" plans for tomorrow. So, I guess that's my response?

I think Kris has probably got it right. 'Cause what else have you done lately? I think it is interesting that he seems to think that it is up to him to decide if there is something between you. A touch arrogant, to me. If you have dinner, I think you really need to keep it to that. No some such! ;\)
