Thanks K, Thanks Jen.

Well, isn't it the way that just when you think you're never going to hear anything, you get an e-mail? (see below) For some reason I feel pretty depressed about it. It made me think he spent Sunday and Monday with the aubergine and nothing's happened; like we're back to square one again.

Anyway, here it is:

Hi OD,

How are you? I hope you're having a good week at work and saying lots of outrageous things to people! I'm sure it's probably a lot more fun in your office than over here. It's been really quiet most of the week and even though today there are more people there still isn’t any interesting gossip going round.

The weekend was OK. Went round to BIL’s on Saturday and made some good progress on the speech although there is still quite a bit of work to do. In some ways it wasn’t really the best day for it cause it was the best day weather wise of the weekend. We have to go to a rehearsal on Saturday afternoon but I think we definitely want it done by the end of Saturday.

Did you manage to see that programme on channel 5 at 10 last night about these men who have sex with their cars. It was really weird and pretty disturbing. There were these 2 guys and one in particular really fancied cars and would kiss them and put his hands all over them in a really weird way. And then really shockingly he actually left his 'seed' on them as well!! It was one of the strangest programs I've seen. Now there's something shocking to tell people about!

Enjoyed the apprentice on Tuesday. I thought there was going to be more than one fired cause there are only two episodes left.

Anyway, I best get on with a bit of work.

Love H xx

I responded with a message outlining what I'd done at the weekend and telling him that we have personal challenges in our office this week so it's not too lively. Mine is to not flirt with anyone (not that I do), but CEO has gone into flirting overdrive as a result trying to see if he can get a reaction out of me.

Thoughts anyone, if any. I supppose I'll just have to carry on being patient and see where this goes.

L. xx
