Hi Queenie,

Sorry to hear about your dad and glad to hear you went to see them. Also glad to hear your MG did things to help you out while you were gone. I swear Queenie, there are some great guys out here in the world. If only we'd known that sooner!

Anyway, I think you know my dad passed away 2 years ago this last April and my 2 Ohio sisters took care of him while he was sick. Of course I loved them before and would still, but I love them more because of their sacrifices. I get to see them tomorrow when my entire Ohio family comes down here to celebrate my boys graduation. We're going to have a 4-day party. And I'm ready.

But to me a brother is different. I can say whatever I want to a sister of mine and them to me, but I can't to my brothers. They don't get it like we do. I'm thinking about you and your dad, but especially your mom. She's the one who deserved the thoughts right now with all she's going through.

I'm sure your brother means well, but now is the time to love your dad, talk to your mom, and keep one another in the loop. Maybe you should tell him that. If he's a lot like you, he'll get it.

So sorry your dad is not doing well Queenie.
