Sooo. You know all those commercials, home movies, and funniest home videos involving people playing frisbee or ball in the yard with their dogs? Apparently they weren't filmed here.
Otherwise the pet owner would be cited with a lease law violation.
We had returned home from crabbing and were playing frisbee with Macy in the yard while the water in the boiling pot heated. She was laying on the ground next to H when the dog barrelled across the back yard from next door. We showed the police officer the wound, walked them through the incident, and he handed us a copy of the lease law. She wasn't on a leash and our yard isn't fenced in.
Grrrr.
Gotta go check on everyone, it's been crazy around here! I hope our cookie isn't crumbling.
