Nothing new to add... just thought I'd pop in and say hi... but as long as I'm here I'll go ahead and agree with everybody... but you already know I think you're a class act.
Hey, hear anything outta Bethie lately? Did she sneak off over the holiday for a sweet little getaway or should we start checkin' the drunk tanks in Il. for her?
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
For those of you anxiously following my progress in 'TBL', I just got the mid-way email of percentages.
The good news: Julie 4.8% Boss 3.5% Friend 3.2%
So I am leading currently. The bad news: My weight loss has slowed to almost a crawl and my friend who is in 3rd currently just pulled a 5lb loss this week after not having done much. And since I have the least to lose, well, you do the math. But more than the money, counts the feelings. And I FEEL GREAT!!!
Hi Julie, you have just reached a platau (spelling). It will pass. Just keep up the great work!

They still struggle to see what was SO BAD that we had to divorce
They will always hurt over this and they will understand more, sort of, as they get older. In my situation, because of my faith and my kids being older, 12 & 14 at the time of the separation, I am able to get them to focus on their blessings and to point to heaven. I share with them that it does "suck" (a good biblical word) but point to the promises of a heaven where there will be no more pain, no more sorrow and then show them places in the bible that make those promises.
I have also taken them to Mexico on weekend out reaches and to our skid row area to help the homeless, to show them how fortunate we are. Now, at ages 14 (S) & 16 (D), they have as good a perspecitive as I could hope for and my R with their mom (and her new H) is good, even though I still hurt at the thought of them together and how X betrayed me. Taking the "high" road does pay off, KEEP DOING IT!
Congrats on leading the pack! inch by inch right? (You are inspiring me and others, no wonder you have that name "inspiredjulie"
posted the following on my thread and a few others, thought I would share with you as well:

Happy Friday to you!
Expecting wonderous things today!! Birds are singing their praises, I still have my health and my kids love me unconditionally. Got food on the table, a roof over my head (for now) and I get to help people on my job on a daily basis, work with some loving and caring people...oh, and my Lakers won!
Indeed, it is a wonderful life!
Sincerely Yours,
