BBj--

Things are sounding SOOOO positive for you and H! The attempted hug was a good thing--I am wishing you had not turned or that H would have been a little more assertive, but hey--it was still a hug, right?

I feel like I am reading a good book, only I am getting fed a chapter at a time! Wonder what is in the next installment??

Ok, here's the last chapter (so far!)

Monday night: I had asked H to check in that he made it home okay. I told him I was going to bed but would have my phone in my bedroom, I was sooo tired! I heard the phone beep at 11:15. There were 2 messages. The first said he was sorry he forgot to let me know he made it home safely. There was another one a minute later that said "Good night and be careful with the storms" (we were supposed to get bad weather overnight).

Tuesday:
I worked late trying to get my room packed up. The kids and I went to town for some errands and supper and then when we got home we went outside to play/mow before it got dark. Came in at 7, there was a message on the home phone from H and a missed call on my cell phone, too. Then 5 minutes after we got in H called the house again. I was in the middle of changing D so I didn't catch the phone. Instantly my cell rang after the house phone stopped ringing.

I got to the phone, picked it up, and said, "Yeah?" b/c I knew it was him. He acted all playfully pouty and said, "Gee, Hi, I am glad to talk to you, too!" I said sorry of course I am glad to hear from you I am just busy...H proceeded to tell me how he found a storage shed, unpacked all of the cattle trailer himself, and got to the realtor's to sign our office documents by 7:00 on a workday. He was totally showing off for me, I could tell. I praised him for being a good boy ( ) and being so efficient. He gave me a rough time again about the house and the pitiful negotiating I did. (Wow! You got him down a whole thousand dollars!)

I said, well I've always let you do the negotiating, and he said, "Now we see why!" I said OK, from now on you are back in charge of all our dealings, and if this house falls through you get to pick the next one (in a teasing voice). H paused for a second, then in a non-teasing voice, said, "Uh, sure". Don't know if that was viewed as pressure....

Anyway H called again that night to talk to the kids and talked to me again. So far, so good..........

Anyway H called again that night to talk to the kids and talked to me again. So far, so good..........

BBj--

I figured you just realy wanted to make sureI saw the new chapter LOL!

Hey, maybe he did not see it as pressure but more a case of you being disappointed if the house fell through and he did not want you disappointed. Boy am I turning into Mary Sunshine, or what? Guess my glass is half full today.

The teasing is a good thing--it shows that he is becoming more and more comfortable with you.
