husband, I know the guy you're talking about. The registration process isn't so much of a process. My check hasn't been cashed yet, but he swears it's all good, it's just a bunch of lay people who volunteer and they aren't all polished. (I think organized would be a better descriptor.) He said they won't turn anyone away so just show up and it will be all good. But, you do have to send it in anyway.
