I didn't have to worry about an R talk tonight. My classes were cancelled so H didn't have to watch D. I saw him briefly and I acted "as if" everything was normal. So 3 days to go for me too!

I am glad they have you booked up....it sounds like a great time for you and you D. I am sure by the end of the week your H will be feeling like he is missing out....because he will be.
Just thought I would pass along one of my experiences from my first trip with my kids without my W. I was expecting to have a lot of work (no help). I was expecting things to take longer. I was expecting to miss my W. I was expecting the kids to have fun..........I wasn't expecting to realize how much more fun it was having my W there to share in the kids experiences with me. There is just something about sharing these things with someone that shares the same exact love for your children as you do. It didn't keep us from having fun but I would say it made the difference bewteen an 8 and a 10 on the enjoyment level. I'm not looking to bring you down just trying to help prep you if you haven't experienced this.....it took me by surprise.
Oh yeah no R talks for me, though I did get the chance to be her best friend after she had a horrible day at work....I think it is good to be the person they turn to.
