I think MC or Retro is a great idea. If he's hesitant to commit to long-term MC, Retro might be a great idea. I wish I was going to the one in July lol.

Glad he is doing so well in the racing. And that it is providing something for you guys to do together and some real moments of connection.

I hope the vacation works out. You can always drive up to El Dorado Hills to the national forest and do a little hiking or something. Even with the price of gas, something like that could be a pretty cheap vacation. Or you can just hide out in the house with the phone off for a few days lol.
