I would love to have everyones prayers. My grandma is doing very poorly. She's in the hospital due to pulmonary arrest from emphysema and they said without the Bipath (sp?) she would last 3 days, and with it she will last maybe a month.

She just told my mom the other day she wasn't ready to go yet. The family is all very very close to her and this is going to be very traumatic.

I appreciate all the prayers. thank you.

ST--

So sorry about your grandmother. I am adding her to my prayers. I am also addign your entire family, as they are truly the ones who will need God's comfort. I know how difficult it is to let go of a grandparent. I just lost my last surviving grandparent last month after a long hospitalization.

Knowing that they have lived a long full life is little consolation for the void they leave behind. Who else has that wisdom, born of their advanced years, to impart? Who else can tell us the stories our parents are too embarrassed to tell us about their childhood?

Thank you very much Michelle and SMW.

I totally understand the void. She's really the glue that holds everyone together. She IS doing better though, at home and eating a bit.

thank you guys! I'm going to leave tomorrow night to go visit. I've also heard that she looks better to. I guess she looked really bad.

oh, wanted to mention, last week H totally blew up when me and the kids got home. It was not picked up (the kitchen that is) and he just went balistic. Obviously he was bottling up HIS problems inside and then just let it out. The house really wasn't THAT bad. it just depends who you compare it to. if it be my obsessive compulsive friend, yes, or my sister's tornado style, not even close. Soooo, I finally yelled back at him that if he's having a problem with something then come to me in a civilized calm manner and tell me instead of waiting and then exploding. After I had that convo, then I just let him be his angry self and I started cleaning the kitchen quickly and getting a pizza put in the oven for H, I then took the kids and I to the park along with some snacks to eat for our supper. I pretty much acted calm with no emotion and like his attitude was not going to ruin mine.

Well, 30 minutes later, this is the text I get. And let me tell you I NEVER EVER EVER got appologies from him before our sitch.

"I'm sorry I blew up. That was wrong. Didn't mean to do that it just happened. I still feel same way bout house but I went bout it totally wrong. I was outta line. I apologize to you n the boys."

I wrote back "wow, thank you, I'm sorry it wasn't picked up, I'll do better"

then 30 minutes later I found out about my gma. what a stressful day. But now I'm able to get thru difficult times so much better than I ever have before. It's really a gift God has given me I feel.

oh, I do wonder sometimes if he would feel the same way, having this new ability to apologize if it hadn't been for him finding out about when I cheated on me 8 years ago. For those of you who don't know. I had my own "A" (we weren't M yet, but I was waiting and waiting and waiting lol) and he didn't find out until the day he told me he wanted me as his W forever (after the sitch) and he ended up asking me so I had to tell him.

I always wonder if it made him realize that he could even lose ME. IDK.

Good on you for leaving and not really getting into it with H. Obviously, since he apologized, the 180 was a big positive!

There is a good chance that he realized that he IS replaceable and I am sure that does affect their perception. My H has made a comment to a friend that having me move on and seeing his children with a "new dad" would destroy him. She told him then he needed to get into C and fix things, otherwise he has no reason to expect me to sit around lonely forever, I have too much to offer someone else. That was 2 days after he moved out, though, and he was not listening to anyone at that point. Maybe it does not hurt for them to be a little unsure about us moving on???

thanks SMW!

I do think that being vague about our GALing does help in that aspect. the only thing we have to be careful is being secretive., During the sitch, my H was so mad at me for not telling him stuff and I guess I was making it seem more like I was dating secretly and he was so mad about it. so funny. I'm thinking, okay, so YOU can go have an A but I can't??? I remember saying, "well, I'm tired of being the only one without secrets" or something like that. He even thought I was dating a guy from church!!! I'm thinking, wow, you really don't know me. WEll, except he was right in the fact that I screwed around way back in the day, but He didn't even know that at the time.
