My W left unannounced 8 months ago and filed. We enjoyed 3 months of communication after she left and getting together. In month 4 she filed a p.o. for no apparent reason and we have had nc since then.
With several family functions coming up she agreed to remove the p.o. (although techinally it is still in place).
After the first family function where we did not talk she called me twice the next day. Last weekend with another function we spoke at a pool party, took turns trading grandkids and even some playful pushing into the pool, and then she called me again the next morning.
I have been nice but very layed back. My kids tell me that it is her way of trying to be friends, nothing more. It feels like more than that, and it sure felt like flirtation to me, but I am very hesitant to do anything other than be nice when we are at the same location.
Any ideas on this? Sure wish I had a cystal ball or a peek inside her mind. I am thinking of doing something nice for Mothers day for her, but making it clear it's about Mothers day and no ILY's.
