Lol I hear that. I am not a big fan of organized religion...was raised Catholic. I hate the Catholic church. But I had a co-worker invite me to this one, and its pretty cool. They have a rock band, and the pastor does real life "messages", no preaching, and the first thing he said was if you are coming here to find perfect people, keep on looking because you won't find any here. None of us are perfect, and that's okay. I was hooked...

Its cold in AZ??? That is not good, but we need rain. Of course, we are getting the wind right now...

Woo Hoo!

Have you broken out the winter coat yet?

Funny...when I lived in New York, that would have been shorts weather. Now I want to wear a sweater and gloves...

It's only 75 here today. And WINDY. But since we don't get summer rains here, no rain or lightning. I miss the monsoons in AZ. They could be a lot of fun. The lightning is just amazing!

It is threatening rain here today, but that could change at any moment. One of the things I find most interesting about living in the desert is that it can be raining on one side of the city, and the other side is just as bright and sunny as can be. In New York it doesn't work that way...if it is raining or snowing, it is raining or snowing. And we don't see the sun much anyway.

I couldn't live there. I'd freeze to death and/or commit suicide from lack of sunshine lol.

This weather is a bit weird for this time of year. Once the monsoon season hits, of course there will be storms every day, somewhere nearby. Some nights I've gone out to walk the dog, surrounded by lightning, with stars overhead. I like the monsson season!
