CW, A weekend in SF sounds so delightful! I love that city (who doesn't?)

I don't know what your taste in books is, but if you like non-fiction that reads like fiction, I recommend The Spirit Catches you and You Fall Down, by Anne Fadiman. A novel I really enjoyed is The Post-Birthday World by Lionel Shriver (and it applies to our situations somewhat because it's about the trade-offs we make whether we stay or leave longterm relationships.)
