Regarding Jeanette -- she was given a warning a couple weeks ago. In addition, due to the 'creative' way that she posted her personal contact information, it was evident that she was well aware of our board rules, and that she was making a decision to disregard them.
It is always our intention to be consistent in enforcing these rules. That is not to say that we notice every single post. If you or anyone else notices any inappropriate postings or personal contact information, etc, please feel free to hit the "NOTIFY" link and let us know. Many members of this community are already doing so.
And, yes, Jeanette is a very sweet person and a valued member of this community. She has agreed to follow the board rules from here on out, so her posting privileges will be reinstated.

Okay for real now would someone please answer the question regarding WHY the email addresses are no longer allowed???? I remember not too long ago when so many people had them in their sig lines...perhaps somewhere along the line someone explained but since we're on the subject again, maybe someone could clue ME in????

As for the notify button, I have only used that a handful of times and once was just to contact sg about my old threads. I will give warnings if I see email addresses but other than that I don't plan to be a tattle tail.
So, why aren't we allowed to contact each other anymore?
You know a lot of people develop good, healthy friendships here and I can't understand the reasoning behind the passive-aggressive impediment that is now in place. I'd also think it's a good promotional point but what the hell do I know?
So are ya'll worried about an uprising or somebody starting a new site???
