BBJ, congrats on the house, but I bet he's going to be a pain in the butt to work with through this whole process. Just be prepared. Stick to your guns through the process and don't mention that you have to move into this house because you're moving. He'll hold that over your head. If you squabble about something just say, "well fine, we'll get a storage unit and move in with my in-laws until the next house closes." And since you're paying for the inspection, make sure it's an inspector of your choosing, not his. You want somebody working for YOU in the inspection, not the seller.

I love buying/selling properties. Almost went into RE about four years ago, but saw the writing on the wall with sixteen thousand new agents every second. One day I probably will.
