Yeah, I like to think he will find his way home sooner or later. I just can't waste my life dwelling on it and wondering when it will happen. His mom told him to file last week (not b/c she wants him to, but b/c she thinks he has been jerking me around and is giving "tough love", in her words). He said, "I can't, I love her." So we'll see.
I am sure he is surprised by my attitude about this house. I am getting the house I want, and I have already decided how I want it to look inside. I am the one handling all the negotiations, and since he has been in sales for 12 years, he typically does ALL negotiations. I hardly talked to our realtors on the past 4 homes we bought. (Same goes for cars)So this is very new to him, me taking charge and doing things myself.
pps. This just in, the guy accepted my offer (except he pays the warranty, I pay the inspection)!
