You sound like you're doing great! The condo plans sound really exciting- how fun to decorate it and then live there, everything just the way you want it!
BTW, I totally understand the getting annoyed if you think about it too much thing. Me too!!!
It's so good to get an update from you!!! I am really excited for your move and how you are making steps to manifest that plan. I am a city girl myself, most suburbs make me feel so sleepy and lifeless!! Does the condo-to-be have a good yoga studio nearby?? (priorities, priorities)
I know that H is being annoying right now. But you are doing a rrrrrrrrrrreally good job!
do not worry about not having "something" to say. I mean, I would post what I eat for lunch if there's nothing else to report!!
I frequently wonder what everyone looks like too. I wish there was a physical place where everyone could meet and support each other in person. It could be like the DB bistro-bar-cafe. Now we would just need to learn how to teleport so we could all be there at the same time...
You have so many positives in your sitch. You need to be very very patient. Ha look who's talking. I haven't got a patient bone in my body!
I think a move to the city will be great for you two. A city has so much to see and do. It's lively and energetic. I grew up in a small town and will never leave the city again.

Just a quick post to tell you that I lived through the garage sale. The turnout wasn't as good as we'd hoped (my neighbor put an ad in the local paper but it didn't run.. phooey!!!).. but we still made some money. I'd guess we made about $300. But unfortunately I still have SOOOO much stuff left over that I had hoped would not be returning into the house.
I mentioned to H that I might try to have another garage sale in August (since I'm planning on moving in September) and he thought that sounded like a good idea. I also mentioned that I'd like a little more help with the next one since I did all the work and he pretty much just showed up this morning and helped me sell. He said that he would definitely make more of an effort next time.
Overall we had a good day. He liked the haggling.. and the ridding of unnecessary stuff. At about 12:30pm we put all the remaining stuff back in the house and went to the neighbors for a beer. Didn't stay long because they had somewhere they needed to be.. then we went out for lunch.. then travelled around the "hood" taking down the 12 garage sale signs I'd put up.. then we hung out at home for a couple of hours... and then he took off to go get ready for his night with his friends.
I am trying to reassemble my home since I have garage sale stuff everywhere and it's driving me crazy.
I am also missing my D2. I brought her to my Mom yesterday.. she spent the night with Grandma and she'll spend tonight too. I'll meet them for breakfast tomorrow.
Just wanted to stop in and give an update that the garage sale is done and was semi-successful.
I hope you're all doing well. I may log back on tonight to check in on all of you.. if I don't get the chance I'll definitely look in on you tomorrow night!
((((Everyone)))) W2G
PS. Not sure if I mentioned it or not but I'm going to cross the border and shop at Walden Galleria with a girl friend on Wednesday. I'm very excited about it.. and can spend garage sale money so I don't feel guilty about it!!
