I hope the neighbors are paying the vet bills on this incident. Luckily none of my dogs have needed surgery before, but Leslie did a surgery on one of the rabbits removing a big cyst. She left the front of the rabbit's body open so we could clean the wound daily. I was too meek with it, but my daughter who was only 13, did it really well. The rabbit only lived a few more days, but I was so impressed with both Leslie and Niki. They really did inspire my little girl. And while she was in college Dr. Bill talked to her about the cost of veterinarian education and setting up a practice. That helped her to decide to do something else that was not so costly.
