Be careful with that outdoor feeding of birds. When I had rats in my attic in Beau Chene the exterminator said, "someone near you must have a bird feeder." We also had overhanging trees touching the house. He said rats make a home near the bird feeder and then go steal the food and come back inside. Sure enough, a neighbor behind me did have a birdfeeder. Good thing I cut back those trees in August 2005. They all fell on the house 2 weeks later!
