Who says? I come from a family with long tradition in BBqing, my father is a master of the grill, my mom too but pretends she is not... I was letting H learn and kept out of his way for as long he was here, I am BBQing now with every chance I get, and I am doing FINE!!!
Well, I know what at least one of my H's dumba$$ self-complications is:

[12:43] H: we've been talking [12:43] H: and things have sort of slipped closer to a relationship [12:44] H: and she's being rather demanding of my time which is driving me up the wall [12:44] Friend: even when she's overseas? [12:44] H: yes [12:44] Friend: I'd think she'd be enjoying the UK while she still can [12:45] H: she's just way more caught on me than I am on her [12:46] H: which is a little akward

On the plus side, he's not that into her, and the constant demands she's placing on him are wearing thin. And she must be feeling pretty insecure. It has implosion written all over it.
*sighs* This doesn't surprise me, as soon as he started going on about vague complications I suspected as much. But I'm still disappointed in him. I'm not sure why he's bothering to lie to me about it anymore.
Well, I guess my job is to not place any demands on him at the moment. Shouldn't be too hard. Especially since she's so needy.
