People that are allergic to bee stings won't necessarily react to a wasp bite or a scorpion sting.
Some scorpions are more dangerous than others. For example, the California Brown Scorpion won't kill you unless you have problems with your immune system, but you will spend a miserable 2-3 days puking with a fever and stomach cramps.
