Happy Monday everyone....

I've been a bit of a crank lately. Ok, just last night. For some reason, it all just piled up... X is bothering me about getting an anulment. Which I don't mind doing, it just annoys me that he is in such a tootin' hurry to do it. Big surprise. No doubt wedding bells are in the near future. Also, had 'the talk' with D5 yesterday. It was pretty huge for her to open up to me as she really hadn't yet. But basically, she is done with the divorce and ready for us to live together again. I hope he's fielding these comments as well!!!! Anyway, trying to make today a little sunnier. Kids are healthy, I'm healthy, we're surviving and life goes on!

Take care, enjoy the week... last week of school here!

Julie,

I have no doubt you handled the talk with great finesse. My own kid is asking those questions, and I may be stumbling on it, I may not. Really, she doesn't get an explanation except this is how things are and she needs to know that no matter what happens between her mother and I, she is loved.

On what grounds can you get an anullment? It seems to me that having kids together pretty much rules out the anullment idea.

an annulment? I think there are time lines on that sort of thing as well as the child issue. So an annulment means the marriage never excisted right? I guess that would mean that your kids were born out of wedlock? As Ford said you owe him nothing.

Good morning all...

Just to clarify, the anulment would be in the Catholic church and is not a legal anulment.

Had a great night and morning with the kids. Life is good. Feeling 'quiet' today... not super animated, but not icky either. Good, but calm and quiet. I know, Bethie... it's about time, right??? Anyway, kids are doing great. This is the last week of school. Work goes great. The 'biggest loser' continues... I've lost 9lbs in 5 weeks... not stellar, but I know, I know slow and steady is good. So I continue to eat well and exercise and enjoy what i have.

Thanks for stopping by!

congrats ont he weight loss

and

I am Catholic
and
I thought you couldn't get an annulment when you have children

he has to have some pretty severe grounds for it

(or at least my arch diocease was that way)
