Fortunately, I didn't spill any margaritas, as that thread closed!

The bar is still open, but please don't ask for a Coke!
We can still have some good food!
And, as always, there are ALWAYS hugs available!

so...the idea with the blueberry vodka lemonade was to take blueberry vodka, mix it with lemonade, add muddled blueberries and mint leaves. Kind of like a mojito. Served cold, very summery and refreshing.

Do they even make cherry vodka? If not, we can make our own!

I have a muddler.

I might have to make a cherry citrus caipirinha this weekend. Has anyone ever had a caipirinha? A cuban friend of mine introduced me to them years ago and they are becoming somewhat hip now. The basic one (it's a Brazilian drink) calls for muddling sugar and lime slices, adding ice and pouring cachaça on top. He would always substitute good white rum. You can make them in many different flavors. I think the last one I had was a basil and strawberry one. I'm thinking the sweet cherry and tart citrus would be good. I usually make mine with both lemon and lime.

The down side is that they are very, very good. A negative because they are very, very strong. But they are so good.

I made a mojito the other night with mint from the garden. A weak one so it could be a big one because they are so refreshing. Aaaah. THAT'S the un-cola!

He is a fool. I'm attractive (not model-quality or anything, but still), intelligent, active, healthy, a great mom and fun. I'm feeling more sorry for him every day, because he *is* obviously a fool.

Oh and I'm handy around the house, too. The tool bench in the garage is mine, not his.

(Refuse to discuss my faults here, only my strengths.)

OK, blueberries in late June!

I will bring my golf clubs. I am horrid, so you can teach me something. I don't even know what a muddler is, so you can teach me something there, too!

He is clearly an idiot!
