Right, H couldn't change who he was. He could have worked at being more funny, but he is just not that kind of guy. H couldn't be the OM, and the OM was a complete opposite. What H COULD have done was try to work on the marriage. INSIST we see a counselor, TRY ANYTHING to show me he wanted to be with me.....my situation is strange....H didn't know I was seeing an OM and he did NOTHING to get back to living with me. He went to work, came home, played with son, talked for a bit about nothing, then went to his house. EVERY day.
Then how does this jibe with "acting as if"??? Doesn't this contradict that?
