I get in these bizarre sitch's - We have always gotten a card together, I don't want to make my D's birthday to look like a competition to D21 or WAW. What I decided to do is to next week just give her a card to let her know how special she is - give it to her on her own and nobody needs to know about it except for the two of us. I have done that before, so that is not out of the ordinary.
Looking forward to a nice night out with family and her a couple of her friends. She wants Mexican food so she can order a margarita - daddy's little girl

My oldest child -- my daughter -- turned 21 last month. My baby, all grown up! While it makes me sad sometimes to think about just how FAST it's all happened, I am also incredibly blessed to have a new, different, more adult-to-adult relationship with her that I wouldn't trade for anything.

CBK-see easy solution..some of these things that come up it's like you're panicking instead of thinking them through. What a great solution you came up with. I'm proud of you.

Have a great time with your daughter. Keep taking care of yourself.
