So I decided I can live with where I am now if it means I get the chance to be where YOU are now, at a later date? \:\) If I felt that my H wanted to come home, I would be thrilled. Even if your H doesn't know if he can make it happen, it is what he WANTS. And that is half the battle.....glad he answered your e-mail and shared his feelings with you about being lost.
