Good to hear you are doing well Chevelle. I do not look forward to the day when I see my stbx with the OM (though I have seen pictures of her with a different OM).

I just wish I could completely lose my feelings for STBXW, but I know that will probably never happen.

I often think about this statement. I was heartbroken twice before in my life with girlfriend breakups. One was 20 years ago (2 yr relationship) and one was 16 years ago (1 yr R). In both cases it took at least a year to get over them. This, however, is much different as it is a 10-yr M (now 11.5) and 13 yr R with a daughter involved. My only guess is that it will take much longer than a year.

Additionally, I can rationalize that my earlier relationships should not have existed (one I was 24 she was 19, and the other I was 29 while she was 22 - I you could say that I matured late, if at all).

Anyway Chevelle, good to hear you are keeping your head up an remaining as strong as possible.
