I made waffles for my mom this morning and she came over for breakfast. I'm also trying to get some cleaning done.
I have to work later tonight. I'm not excited about that. Since I will be working full-time all summer, I'm thinking about quitting my retail job. Problem is I want to be able to go back to it for the holidays. So, I think I'll talk to my boss about taking a couple months off perhaps. I also need to try and get next weekend off so I can go down to So Cal with my parents to see my family.
Then my first summer school class starts tomorrow. The next four weeks are going to be very hectic and stressful. I can't wait til it's over.
While I'm not surprised that H didn't come to my graduation, I am disappointed/hurt that he didn't even send me an IM or call me to tell me congratulations. The list of holidays and important dates keep passing by and he keeps ignoring all of them - my birthday, Christmas, V-day, and now my graduation. It hurts that he can just ignore me like that, like we haven't been friends for more than 7 years, like we haven't been together for 6 and M for nearly 4.

Sorry your H was such a D!ck with capital D and didn't even call or Imed you. So unthoughtful of him. But your graduation still is something to be very proud of. It's your accomplishment.

Had a semi-bizarre convo with H on IM today. He finally asked how my graduation was, I told him lots of people asked after him, then told him all the fun we had w/o him - I'm so mean lol.
I mentioned I had champagne in the fridge I had forgotten to open (I was very tired by the time I got home) then asked H - (11:24:35 AM) me: i don't suppose you wanna help me with that champagne sometime? Yes a HUGE congrats on the graduation! I know you still have summer school to finish up, but just think it won't be long now! Did you take lots of photos of you in your cap and gown. When I got my masters, my Dad (who paid for my whole schooling) MADE me walk so he could take a ton of photos.
So is summer school a month long? I seem to remember my masters classes being about a month long. A long..grueling month however. But you'll get through it.
Sorry your H is being such a major jerk. The least he could have done was wish you a happy day.

Cool! I'm glad he invited you over, but yes, shame he didnt wish you well before the graduation!!! Perhaps he feels awkward/embarressed, I dont know. Wierd he said that you hadnt met up becuase you are both so busy at different times and the dates done match up - thats an excuse surely! At least he gave one though, so its not a, dont want to meet up..
Not sure of the time difference, maybe you have already been to see him/are there now, but whichever it is.. GOOD LUCK! Hope you get a little clarity from him and find out whats what. Well done for graduating! You must be thrilled, its onwards and upwards for you.
