I just came back from getting something to give from the kids. The cards from me and them would be good. I like the idea of giving a cross. Wish I had read this before I left.
I was planning on inviting her to a neighborhood church tomorrow morning (not the one we regularly go to – people there know; she stopped going as soon as she was asked to step down as one of the Sunday School teachers). Then off to a fancy restaurant in the city. I'm scrapping that now. I'll just invite her to church.
