I had my 7th date w/CG last night. (Spread out over the course of 10 months!) We met for drinks, sat on the patio and talked. After a couple of drinks he asked me if I wanted dinner, so we got a table at the place we were at and continued the evening and conversation. We talked about parenting and the challenges of co-parenting (a situation I have largely been able to avoid). We talked about how we each ended up in California (we are both from the Midwest)We talked about couples we know who are ga-ga in love. We just generally spent another 3 hours getting to know each other! Afterwards he walked me to my bicycle, and invited me to a play on Wed. Unfortunately I may have a conflict. Oh well. I think things are progressing as they should.
As we said goodbye I made a little joke about the "pulling away" and the crazy in the head stuff. Kept it light. *sigh*
Have someone to drive me to my biopsy on Thursday. Have another friend who offered to come over and sit with me afterwards. Life is, indeed, good.
