My MIL replied to my grades e-mail with: "You are amazing!!!!!!! Congratulations! - I couldn't be prouder even if you were my biological daughter!! I cannot wait to see you Saturday!! Will call tomorrow!! Love ya!"

And my mom: :"Hurrah!!!!!! Your GPA this semester is GREAT! We are sooooo proud of you! -Mom"

*sniffles* My family is awesome. You guys are all awesome. My roommate is awesome. How did I wind up meeting so many wonderful people???

Changing topics - Firekeeper - it's more that everyone dies at some point, not that him dying at this moment is inevitable. That is life and death, yin and yang. Regardless of whether I get work done at work, my brain is still processing the situation and working through the thoughts and emotions. I hope my grandfather at least got to see the caligraphy I did addressing his graduation announcement as he was the one who taught me.
