My threads always lock at the most inopportune times. *shakes head* Last Thread and the One Prior.
Nothing new to report on my grandfather. He's still alive so far as I know, but the funeral will probably be next weekend. *sighs*
When my roommate got home from work yesterday and I started to tell her about my day she decided we needed to go get pedicures - her treat. So, my toes are cute for graduation and I got to sit in the massage chair and get my feet rubbed too. I definitely appreciated that.

we meet so often on Kalni's and Lisa's threads. I just wanted to stop by to tell you that I am very sorry for your loss.
(((hugs)))

The contrast in roommates is even more obvious when I get treated to H b!tch!ng about his horrible roommates. I definitely got the better deal in this S.
Thoe herbal sleep pills are fantastic, I have been sleeping very well, which always makes the mornings seem brighter. Now if I could just make it through a day without some sort of negative drama to pop my bubble, I think life might actually be good.
Jinx! Where's some wood when you need it - now that I've said that, my grandpa will die today. *sighs* Oh well, it's inevitable, so no point in dwelling on it.
Back to the salt mines.
My horoscope today: "Your feelings are strong now, yet you may choose to keep them to yourself. You might want to show someone special that you do care, but would rather express it through actions instead of language. Keep all channels of communication wide open. Just continue to follow your heart, even if you feel awkward about it."
H's: "The Moon is back in your sign again, reminding you that your feelings run deeper than others think. Nevertheless, you are quite at home in your own depths, even while having difficulty communicating your emotions to someone else. Start slowly and share something easy; then work up to scarier stuff later in the day."

Michelle - YAY!!! Now that's the kind of drama we want to hear.
And from your last thread - yes, we do need to hang out soon!

on a different note - the phrase "Oh well, it's inevitable, so no point in dwelling on it. " - is not sitting well with me. if i put a theoretical spin on it - it sounds like denial and intellectualizing - but it's just bookish terms...
so i wonder if there is way for you not to dwell on it and at the same time create a way to honor and farewell your grandpa, the special place he had in your life and will always have
