Hi all! How is everyone? I'm just sitting at work, doing work (sometimes!), and listening to my AWESOME Leona Lewis CD. Anyone have it? I LOVE IT!!! It's uplifting to me for some reason.
Last night I was a machine! We had to huge piles of branches in the backyard and apparently my IL's weren't going to clean them up and neither were the hired landscapers. So I decided to do it so they're gone since the city starts picking up this week. I grabbed a saw and went to town on the branches! The city wants them 3 feet or smaller and all of these were a minimum of 6 feet. I have one war injury, but that's just a scrape from bringing one of the branches to the curb. Other than that, I felt great about doing something like that. It was like how I felt when I got the entire house ready myself when we put it on the market (before bk'ing it). It was great and D was such a help carrying the branches. It was perfect timing too because it POURED about 5 minutes after coming inside.
Tonight I'll be grilling turkey burgers. Anyone want to join us?
