I'm so sorry. As you know I've been through this recently myself. It's so heartbreaking, and I know that helpless feeling.

Do what you need to do to take care of yourself. And please tell me if there's anything I can do - being that we're pretty much neighbors I figure there's a chance I might ACTUALLY be able to do something.

So H's very empathetic response to the whole thing...."don't be sad. He lived a full life."

Gee thanks. I feel better now.......NOT!

Aww Michelle I'm sorry!!

I got a lot of that when my grandma died too, but not quite so heartless as that. It was more "I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that she lived a full life." Maybe that's closer to what your H really meant and he just said it really poorly. \:\(

You're probably right.

And I know I shouldn't expect him to be there for me since in his mind we're not really together. But it's like there's a golden opportunity for him to be there for me and he's too wrapped up in himself to give me a single thing. I don't know, maybe he thinks words help - but he should know me better than that, PT is my LL after all.

Nik - we really need to hang out soon. It's been too long.
