for how long you have been doing aikido? do you use the practice of aikido in your relationship?

I did it for a couple years as a child but then got out of it for 15 yrs or so. I started back up last June at the urging of my H who wanted to take a class together. Turns out it was a last-ditch effort by him to connect with me and since he can't bear to be around all these people that know we are M he hasn't attended since he moved. I am still going, however irregularly, and it is very good for me.
I do find the centering exercises to be very helpful in everyday life. The chi exercises certainly would apply to my R with my H if I really had one. Since I rarely see him face to face I don't get much chance to try them.

So, H actually IMd me today! I almost fell out of my chair, especially because he wanted me to look at some GI Bill stuff and he couldn't find the code section - so he actually asked me if I knew anything about it!?!
I think I'm in shock lol.
Now if only he'd ask me on a damn date!
